What We Do

Here at Evergreen Construction we pride ourselves on giving you the best product for your money. I have personally been a general contractor for 14 years and was trained by some of the finest and most respected contractors on the Oregon coast. Building on the coast takes more then your average knowledge as we have to deal with weather and wind that not many other contractors get to experience. I have seen water literally blow through a keyhole on a house in Cannon Beach.
If you have not experienced these kinds of conditions, then you wouldn’t know how to build properly in them to prevent issues and damage down the road. Sometimes people are looking to save a buck by hiring a company from out of the area to do their work. I totally understand when it comes to money up front. The issue arises in these cases that typically 5 years later we will come in and fix that work costing the home owner 25-100% more then if they just went with a local contractor out of the gate. Long term thinking could save you way more then a short term savings. We are here to educate people as well on how spending a little more now will save you in the future.

We can help. Finding a good contractor can be a real issue at times when you don’t have any references. If we can’t help you specific situation, then we will happily give you some good references to help you along the way. Most contractors here are friends as we live in a tight community.
One of our specialties that is a lost art today is custom trim work. We have worked on everything from fixing a loose piece of trim for a kind gesture, to a 4 million dollar spec house overlooking the ocean. We also have a staged shop where we can custom finish our own trim for each project.
